The Girtonian, a yearbook from the 1913-1914 school year of the Girton School, an all girls independent or private school in Winnetka, Illinois that operated from 1900 to 1918. In 1919, the school was closed and leased to the North Shore Country Day School, which absorbed many of the remaining Girton students and operates on the site through today (as of 2014).  The book features original writing by the girls, photographs of students and student activities, calendar or events, drawings, humorous quips about their school, and advertisements from local businesses from the North Shore to Chicago. Dedicated to headmistress of Girton School, Katharine Fleming Branson.
